Creative Producer

Prisms VR is a San Francisco–based and remote team of Educators, Game Developers, and Engineers transforming how students experience their education through first-person, relevant and embodied learning experiences powered by the next generation of spatial computers. We utilize adaptive Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) to engage, inspire, and open pathways to creative problem-solving that rapidly improve engagement and proficiencies in Math and Science (to start) across our country and beyond. JOB DESCRIPTION

Prisms is currently seeking a Creative Producer who will be responsible for working alongside a cross-functional team of Unity developers, spatial designers and 3D artists to deliver our Grades 7-11 Math & Science VR content libraries. We are looking for driven individuals who can manage the production lifecycle of a multifaceted VR product and are looking to create high-impact educational experiences to rapidly improve outcomes for students. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate customer requirements into objective-driven experience requirements 

  • Lead iterative design cycles to conceptualize novel VR interactions that further learning and adhere to our pedagogical framework and methodologies 

  • Track and manage priorities and activities for the art, interaction design, content and development teams

  • Provide feedback on all aspects of development to ensure deliverables are met on time and at high quality

  • Manage regular feedback steams (internal testing, user playtesting, customer feedback, and QA cycles) for rapid, iterative development and work with content, design, and development teams to ensure customer needs are met

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners (animation & sound studios)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in iterative VR game development in Unity and a willingness to participate in many areas of design & development

  • Shipped commercial VR titles with proven credit 

  • Video, audio, image editing skills

  • Experience with running Agile practices, i.e. sprint planning, standup, retrospectives

  • Advanced skills with MS Excel 

  • Commitment to transforming and reimagining STEM education 

  • Highly motivated and skilled at both working individually and collaborating with a team 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in educational technology

  • Experience with large scale enterprise software deployment

  • Educational game development a plus
