Tell us about your founder!

Anurupa Ganguly founded Prisms to digitize a new learning process that targets the root causes of failure in STEM learning today, and is aligned to how we learn best - experientially. With 10+ years of experience leading STEM departments of the largest public and charter K-12 school systems in the US, Anurupa is uniquely positioned to deliver a pedagogically-sound, results-driven learning solution with an implementation apparatus needed to scale Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) for all student populations. She holds a BS and M.Eng in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from MIT and M.Ed in Curriculum & Teaching from BU and is a National Science Foundation SBIR recipient.

Prisms, founded in 2020, is pioneering efficacious learning experiences in virtual reality. Backed by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, Prisms is the first spatial learning platform for K-12 STEM education, scaling a new way of learning core math and science that actualizes pedagogies that we know work best. In 2023, Prisms launched its VR math modules (Prisms Math) for consumers via the Meta Quest Store bringing joyful and spatial math learning to anyone: Students, teachers, tutors, and parents.
