Prisms, founded in 2020, is a new world teaching model where students learn core Math and Science (and in the near future all subject areas) concepts spatially, physically and steeped in important real world contexts. Prisms began by targeting bottleneck topics in Grades 7-11 Math and Science that are often memorized in lieu of deep understanding -- leading to huge gaps and drop offs over time in STEM. Anurupa and the Prisms team are building the next generation classroom by rapidly deploying the next generation of spatial computers across US K-12 districts, training teachers to integrate problem-driven, multimodal, and kinesthetic learning with VR into core curriculum. During the academic year 2024-2025, thousands of educators across over 300 school districts, in 35 US states, serving over 300k students will be utilizing Prisms’ problem-based learning model to teach Grades 7-11 Math and Science.
Prisms has 80+ full length content and skill building modules across Grades 7-11 Math and Science enabling students to learn and then practice a core concept / skill. By Fall 2025, Prisms will release grades 4-12 Math and Science. Humanities will launch in Fall 2026.
Teachers plan for and orchestrate the students’ experience in real time through their Prisms Teacher Dashboard. Students will sign into the headset using their unique credentials to save their progress and provide meaningful analytics to teachers and districts.
Prisms provides pricing based on a fixed quantity of software licenses as outlined in the Description of Platform, Services, and Fees. Each license gives 1 student unlimited access to Prisms’ modules for the entire term of the partnership. This license may apply to one or more subject areas depending on the scope of the contract.
